Created in 2001 "J. Filipe & Associados, Sociedade de Advogados, S.P., R.L " has since developed integrated services, covering the most diverse areas of law.
During the 21st century and globalization, the lives of people and businesses became more demanding and complex, making the view on generalist advocacy a somewhat romantic vision. This "romantic" view was gradually lost in favor of specialization within the various areas.
With a view to accompanying this new trend, the Portuguese Bar Association begins the creation of areas of specialization, which after given evidence, assigns the specialist degree to lawyers.
In 2002, our founding partner, Dr. José Filipe Nogueira, was awarded the degree of specialist in Labor Law, a distinction that remains.
Adopting a culture different from some competitors, "J. Filipe Nogueira & Associados " is what we can call "Boutique Law Firm ", specializing its services in a few selected areas (niches) of law.
